Best B2B Lead Generation Companies in 2026: An Honest Comparison

Eight agencies show up on almost every 2026 roundup of B2B lead generation companies, and only two of them publish a real price. This comparison ranks them on what each one publishes about itself, checked on 9 September 2026.

There is no objective ranking of the best B2B lead generation companies in 2026, and anybody who claims one is selling placement. What can be checked is what each company puts in public: prices, contract minimums, and the review counts and ratings on its own Clutch profile. That is the standard for everything in our agency comparison series, and every figure below was read off the agency’s own site or its Clutch profile on 9 September 2026, with all sources linked at the end.

Who are the best B2B lead generation companies in 2026?

Eight names recur across the roundups that currently rank: Belkins, Callbox, CIENCE, Cleverly, Leadium, Martal Group, SalesHive and SalesRoads. They are not interchangeable. They range from a 2004 call center with 1,000 to 9,999 employees to a 10 to 49 person LinkedIn shop, and their published minimums differ by a factor of five.

Agency Founded Headquarters Price on its own site Clutch rating (reviews) Clutch minimum project
Belkins 2017 Denver, CO None published 4.9 (233) $1,000+
Callbox 2004 Los Angeles, CA None published 4.6 (128) Undisclosed
CIENCE 2015 Denver, CO $7,499 first month 4.2 (142) $1,000+
Cleverly 2018 Los Angeles, CA None published 4.3 (85) $1,000+
Leadium 2016 Las Vegas, NV None published 5.0 (76) $1,000+
Martal Group 2009 Oakville, Canada Tiers listed, no figure 4.8 (109) $1,000+
SalesHive 2016 Littleton, CO None published 0.5 (1) Undisclosed
SalesRoads 2007 Boca Raton, FL $9,950 per 4 weeks 4.9 (66) $5,000+
LeadButton Not listed Not listed $1,500 and $3,500 No profile yet None
Agency sites and Clutch profiles read on 9 September 2026. Founded year, headquarters and minimum project size are self-reported fields on Clutch, not audited figures. LeadButton is included for comparison and has no Clutch profile yet, which is itself a fact you should weigh.

Two entries in that table need a caveat rather than a conclusion. SalesHive’s Clutch profile carries a single review at 0.5 out of 5, which is one customer’s account and not a rating in any statistical sense; the company reports 250 to 999 employees and has plainly served far more than one client. Read it as an absence of Clutch evidence, not as a verdict. And Leadium’s perfect 5.0 sits on 76 reviews, which is a genuinely strong record, but a flawless average across that many reviews is unusual enough that reading a few of them is worth ten minutes.

Why does every “best of” list rank a different company first?

Because the publisher usually wrote itself into the list. This is the single most useful thing to know before you read another roundup, including this one. We checked three of the pages currently ranking for this query and two of them put the publisher in first place.

The list Who published it Publisher’s own position Dates on the page
Best B2B Appointment Setting Companies in the USA, 9 companies Callbox, an agency in the category Number 1 of 9 Published 25 Mar 2026, updated 21 Aug 2026
17 Best B2B Lead Gen Agencies, Ranked and Priced OutreachBloom, an agency in the category Number 1 of 17, disclosed on the page Published 1 Jun 2026, updated 8 Sep 2026
25 Best Lead Generation Companies and Services, 13 agencies named Expandi, a LinkedIn automation vendor Not ranked, promotes its own software throughout Published 24 Jun 2026, updated 11 Aug 2026
Pages read on 9 September 2026. Positions are as published by each site on that date.

OutreachBloom deserves credit for saying it out loud. Its page states plainly that this is their guide and they are in it. Callbox does not carry that disclosure, and Expandi’s piece is a software company explaining why you might not need an agency at all. None of that makes the underlying information wrong. It does mean the ordering carries no signal, and that the only parts of any roundup worth trusting are the checkable ones: published prices, contract terms, review counts, and dates.

The same test applies here. LeadButton is a lead generation agency writing about lead generation agencies. We have put ourselves in the table and told you our prices, and every competitor figure is a link you can open yourself.

Which agencies publish a price, and which make you book a call?

Two publish real numbers. CIENCE and SalesRoads both put dollar figures on their own pricing pages, which in this category is rare enough to be worth naming. Belkins, Callbox, Cleverly and Leadium publish none. Martal publishes a tier structure and pilot lengths without ever naming the fee, and SalesHive publishes terms without a price.

Agency What is actually published Minimum commitment stated
CIENCE GTM System Setup $5,000 one time, Strategic Execution $2,000 per month, graph8 platform licence $499 per month, stated first month total $7,499. Optional SDR capacity $1,500 to $6,500 per month plus $1,000 one time per SDR Month to month after setup
SalesRoads Full SDR appointment setting from $9,950 per 4 weeks. Two SDRs $16,750 per 4 week engagement, which it prices as $8,375 per rep and describes as 15.8% savings per rep 4 week engagements, “Cancel anytime. No Commitments” on the homepage
Martal Group Three tiers, flat fee per month, no dollar figure anywhere 3 month pilot on Tier 1A, 4 month pilot on Tiers 2 and 3
SalesHive “Three tiers. Two team options. One bill.” No figure. States no setup fees, no long term contracts, cancel anytime with written notice, and that annual plans run below month to month Month to month
Leadium No price. Budget bands on the enquiry form run $2,500 to $3,500 through above $10,000 “All of our contracts are month-to-month”
Belkins, Callbox, Cleverly Nothing. Book a call or get a quote Not published
LeadButton Launch $1,500 per month, Growth $3,500 per month, Scale custom Billed monthly, cancel anytime
Pricing pages read on 9 September 2026. Quoted phrases are the wording on each company’s own page on that date.

The spread here is the real story. CIENCE’s published entry point is $7,499 in month one. SalesRoads starts at $9,950 for four weeks, which across the thirteen four week cycles in a year is $129,350 for one dedicated SDR. LeadButton’s Launch tier is $1,500 a month. Those are three different products wearing the same category label, and no ranked list can reconcile them for you. If you want the full picture of where those numbers sit against the rest of the market, we broke down what a B2B lead generation agency actually costs in 2026 using the same method.

What do the review platforms actually show?

Ratings are the least useful field on a Clutch profile. Six of the eight agencies above sit between 4.2 and 5.0, a band too narrow to separate them. The field that does separate them is most common project size, which Clutch computes from the reviews themselves and which almost nobody reads.

Callbox’s most common project size is $10,000 to $49,999 across 101 reviews. SalesRoads’ is $50,000 to $199,999. Cleverly’s is under $10,000 across 70 reviews. Those three numbers tell you more about who each agency serves than any star rating does, and they explain why the same shortlist can produce quotes an order of magnitude apart.

Two more cautions on review data. The $1,000+ minimum project size that Belkins, CIENCE, Cleverly, Leadium and Martal all display is a lead capture setting, not a price; every one of them will quote you multiples of it. And Belkins publishes on its own homepage that it holds a 4.8 on G2 across 93 reviews alongside its Clutch score, which is worth checking because G2 and Clutch draw from different customer populations and disagreeing scores are informative.

How do I shortlist three of these without wasting a month?

Four checks, in the order that eliminates the most candidates fastest. First, match published price to your budget: if your ceiling is $4,000 a month, SalesRoads at $9,950 per four weeks is already out and you have saved two calls. Second, read the minimum term, because a $3,000 monthly fee behind Martal’s four month pilot is a $12,000 decision, not a $3,000 one. Third, open the Clutch most common project size and confirm you are not the smallest client they have taken. Fourth, ask each finalist for the written definition of a qualified meeting before you discuss price at all, because that definition, not the fee, determines what you receive.

One more thing to ask that nobody volunteers: who owns the sending domains and what happens to them when the contract ends. An agency that runs outreach on domains it controls can leave you with nothing transferable, and a burned domain does not recover on a schedule. That is the practical half of the eleven reasons cold email lands in spam, and it is the question that most reliably tells you whether an agency runs its own infrastructure or rents someone else’s. The setup itself is not exotic; we published the whole SPF, DKIM and DMARC job in 40 minutes, so any agency that treats it as a proprietary black box is telling on itself.

How LeadButton handles this

We publish the price, which makes three of the nine companies in the table above. Launch is $1,500 a month for fully managed email outreach, the prospect list, domain warming and weekly reporting. Growth is $3,500 a month and adds LinkedIn, live agents working the replies, CRM sync and booking straight into your calendar. Scale is custom for multi inbox programs that need a dedicated success manager and SLAs. Billing is monthly with no minimum term and no setup fee, and sending infrastructure is included rather than invoiced as onboarding. The tiers are laid out on the LeadButton pricing page. We have no Clutch profile yet, and when we have one it will be on this page with the same numbers as everyone else’s.
